Rare Earthquake hits Antarctica
by Steven Ferdin
California isn’t the only place that suffered from earthquakes lately. On Nov, 2nd of this year, an earthquake registering a 6.2 on the Richter scale struck 3,641 kilometers from Punta Arenas in Antarctica. Obviously, there are no traces of civilization on Antarctica, but if there were, damage would most likely be moderate. Earthquakes in Antarctica rarely occur, but when they do they are often large. No animals were harmed.
