Cheap Gift Ideas

It’s a dilemma that I deal with every year, gifts to give without any money to spend. Fortunately, I’ve had many ideas to overcome this and rather than keeping them all to myself I have decided to create a list of all the cheap gift ideas that everyone can use.
A great tip is making gifts yourself. Not only are they usually cheaper than buying them already assembled, they are more sentimental showing who ever your giving it to that you put in time and effort into their gift. A great example is jewelry or painted potter. It isn’t very difficult or expensive either.
Express yourself!!! Write a poem and frame it, or better yet make the frame yourself. It’s a great way to share how you feel to your parents, friends, or significant other.
Know that person. Don’t just give them something you’ll like, give them something they’ll like. Let your gift show that you were thinking about them when you bought it or made it. Like if someone likes a particular color, buy them something in that color, or if they are passionate about something such as music, buy them sheet music or a CD.
And when all else fails, resort to the girt card. It’s preferred over cash because it represents something that person likes.
TIPS:
Personalize them
Make them yourself
Know what that person likes
Use the gift to share a connection between the gift giver and whoever is receiving
Be creative
Be unique
Give something that lasts
Try looking in thrift stores more inexpensive items
