Volume 3: December Comments Off

by S. Ferdin

The U.S. elections aren’t the only presidential race in the world that’s heating up. Russian candidates for the Russian presidency are also competing against each other. On December 13th, 2007, Garry Kasparov announced he will not run for president. Better know as one of the world’s greatest chess champion, he turned political advocate to battle Russian President Vladimir Putin’s oppression. He has dropped out because his political campaign had problems with censorship, police crackdowns, and lack of support.
