Late Arrival Policy Change

Teachers are tired of having students arrive late to school every morning because each time a student arrives late the learning environment gets disrupted. Due to so many students arriving late in the morning Mr. Poo, Dean of Students, decided to hold these students in the office. Soon enough, Mr. Poo found out that this punishment wasn’t working. He would always have the same students in the office and he began to notice that his office became a hangout. Since then Mr. Poo has made a new punishment. If you are 15 minutes late you will serve a lunch detention. He feels that this punishment is more effective because it takes time away from students’ social lives.

I feel very disappointed with my fellow students because they should be here on time to get their education. I feel that as a charter school students we should be arriving to school on time. If we are attending this school then we want to get the best education we can and we should make good use of the valuable time we have here.
